A number of music artists and fans logged on to the popular social networking site Twitter to express their opinions on The Grammy’s which took place last night (January 31). Several Hip Hop artists, among them Fabolous and Q-Tip, questioned why there wasn’t a single Grammy award for the category of rap announced during the show. “Why don’t the Hip hop/rap catorgies get televised?? We (hiphop) are a big part of music 2day, even in mainstream America,” Fabolous Tweeted. Rapper and Tribe Called Quest front-man Q-Tip echoed Fab’s sentiment with a similar Tweet. “[Why] were none of the hiphop categories on t.v. For grammys,” questioned Q-Tip via Twitter.
