Trey Songz & Jeezy will cover the April/May 2010 issue of VIBE Magazine. Trey who has been claimed a lane of his own with his gold album Ready as the hardest dude in R&B. Jay-Z tapped the homie for the BP3 and even talks of forming a super group with the young singer. This has been a great year for Trey and I only see a better future. I assume Jeezy has taken some time out of his days to record a new album and stop thinking about Keyshia Cole. Jeezy has been on the road with Jay-Z and Trey Songz for the BP3 tour which has done pretty well. I bet the official name change, the album, Keyshia Cole and BP# tour will be topic of discussion along with talk of his USDA crew. I almost forgot, Gucci Mane nine times out of ten will be mentioned. VIBE Magazine seem to be pretty excited about Jeezy. Check below for they had to say about the two.
Trey Day is here! Voted the top album of 2009 by VIBE Magazine (Ready), the hardest dude in R&B covers the publication’s April/May 2010 issue. Jeezy covers the other. It’s yet another accomplishment in a banner year for Songz. “I wanted to push the sex envelope with Trey’s shoot visually,” says VIBE editor in chief Jermaine Hall. “We were able to come up with shots that are equally entertaining for men and women.” The issue hits stands nationwide April 13.
Pair together the dopest mag out with one of trap rap's finest, and what do you get? A second issue of VIBE that's iller than the gout, harder than a dinner plate. Check out this promo shot of cover star Jeezy—as well as these other fresh flicks—to hold you over until the April/May cover drops. - VIBE MAGAZINE
The covers will reveal next Tuesday.
