Mary J. Blige has been the poster girl for every black women who wanted to make it out the hood for about 20 years now. She has taken her brand to a whole new level these days. I mean the Mary chills with Oprah on the regular these days so the women have come a long way from the projects in Yonkers. Mary J. Blige will debut her fragrance "My Life" on HSN Saturday July 31st 2010 @ 9pm. "My Life" fragrance clearly named after her 1994 hit album is sure to have the same impact. "My Life" is still my favorite Mary J. Blige album.

Announced last year Mary J. Blige and Carol's Daughter has partnered up for the "My Life" fragrance. Mary J. Blige has now become a serious mogul with her new record label (Matriarch) and sunglasses line ("Melodies") she is ready to stomp with the big dogs. I am sure "My Life" fragrance will be a smash, since we have seen several artist like Diddy, Mariah, Usher, Britney Spears and Beyonce have success with their fragrances the past few years.
