Jill Scott has come back to her hometown North Philadelphia to raise money through her charity, “Blues Babe". The charity has given over $100,000 to save the Cecil B. Moore Recreation Center which is only a block away from where Jill Scott grew up. The charity "Blues Babe" launched in 2002 was named after Jill Scott’s grandmother to help students in poor communities by providing programs that promote leadership and academic excellence. Jill talks about giving back to her community and her new album "The Light of The Sun" due out 2011 with BET news reporter Tony Anderson. Check out the video above.
