THE WAITING ROOM INTERVIEWS MARSHA AMBROSIUS
For Liverpool-born singer-songwriter Marsha Ambrosius the last ten years have seemingly been one blessing after another. From hitting it big in The States as the poignant vocalist of fan-favorite duo Floetry, to writing and producing for artists the likes of Alicia Keys, Jill Scott, and Michael Jackson. Of course Marsha’s ride through the industry hasn’t been without bumps in the road, but if you ask her, talking about them is “not even worth it”. While speaking with TheWaitingRoom recently, Marsha maintained pure optimism while reflecting on her past and looking toward her exciting future. Stepping out from behind-the-scenes once again, Ambrosius is gearing up to release her highly-anticipated debut solo album, due out early 2010. If any of her preceding work is an indication of things to come, this funky lady is just getting started.

DIANE SAWYER LEAVING GOOD MORNING AMERICA
TVNewser has learned ABC News will announce today that Charles Gibson will leave "World News" in January and that Diane Sawyer will be named the new anchor of the network's evening newscast.
Gibson has been the anchor of "World News" since May 2006, after the pairing of Elizabeth Vargas and Bob Woodruff was broken up when Woodruff was seriously wounded in an IED attack in Iraq.
Woodruff and Vargas were named co-anchors of the program in Dec. 2005 after the death of longtime anchor Peter Jennings.
MICHAEL JACKSON FINALLY LAID TO REST
Exactly 10 weeks after his death, Michael Jackson was laid to eternal rest Thursday night in a crypt fit for a king.
Jackson's brother and his two sons all wore black suits and red ties and sported purple arm bands embroidered with gold crowns as they filled the front rows.
The singer's brothers also wore sequin gloves on their left hands and carried the coffin to his crypt at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, Calif.
Gladys Knight performed at the service, which started over an hour late and was attended by a small coterie of family and friends. She sang "His Eye is on the Sparrow" and directed the faithful by singing the Lord's Prayer when they were committing the body.
Among the celebrities at the service were singer Stevie Wonder and legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor, who was dressed in black and arrived in a wheelchair.
The King of Pop's first wife, Lisa Marie Presley, actor Macaulay Culkin and Barry Bonds, the disgraced Major League Baseball home-run king, also attended the burial.
The mourners filled more than 200 white chairs set up outside the Great Mausoleum, where Jackson was interred. Two color photos of Jackson sat on easels in front of the crowd.
Jackson's three young children poured their hearts out in personal letters that were placed in their father's gold-plated coffin along with one of his signature gloves. They placed a crown on top of a bed of flowers on the casket.
The Rev. Al Sharpton said it was a "personal honor" to be invited to the service.
"I talked about how it's harder traveling east to west because you face a headwind," Sharpton said. "Michael, coming from Gary, Indiana, always had to battle headwinds, face some accusation. But he landed well. I told the children they crowned their father for all eternity."
Jackson died June 25 at his rented Beverly Hills mansion from an overdose of sedatives allegedly administered by his doctor.
His death has been ruled a homicide by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
The 13-time Grammy winner's remains were laid to rest in a concrete-reinforced crypt in the Holly Terrace section of a gothic, fortress-like Great Mausoleum.
The high-security structure is filled with reproductions of Michelangelo statues and a stained-glass replica of Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper," according to Forest Lawn's Web site.
The graves of Hollywood legends Clark Gable, Jean Harlow, Carole Lombard, Red Skeleton and Nat King Cole dot the heavily guarded mausoleum's dim hallways - as do 24-hour security cameras.

SERENA AND VENUS WILLIAMS ADVANCE AT US OPEN
Reporting from New York - Serena Williams took only 53 minutes and committed only nine unforced errors in her 6-1, 6-1 second-round victory over 51st-ranked Melinda Czink of Hungary.
It was an emphatic win and it prompted Serena to do a little happy dance when it was over. That was in contrast to a second-round match earlier in the day when Venus Williams played with her left knee heavily taped.
That didn't stop third-seeded Venus from dispatching 124th-ranked Bethanie Mattek-Sands, 6-4, 6-2, and moving closer to an anticipated fourth-round encounter with 2005 Open champion Kim Clijsters.
Clijsters, who hasn't played here since '05 and who has been back on the circuit for only a month after ending a two-year retirement, upset 14th-seeded Marion Bartoli, 5-7, 6-1, 6-2.
While Williams refused to talk about her knee, Clijsters said she'd be interested to see how that knee holds up. "I think what we don't know is how her knee is going to react after a couple of matches," Clijsters said.
Williams neither complained about pain nor offered explanations on why the knee hurts, except to say, "Wear and tear does put a lot on your body. It's September now. I started, literally, in December. So I guess it's not a huge surprise that at this time of the year things start to be a little sore and start to hurt."

Kanye is on the cover of the French magazine "Liberation Next Magazine". I remember a while back Kanye said he would get Buff and pose nude but I see he just went topless. I hope he did not go full nude in the spread. I guess we will have to wait and see if a spread leaks.

CHRIS BROWN RELEASE STATEMENT ABOUT LARRY KING INTERVIEW
The media ripped Chris Brown to shreds after the Larry King interview. Jazzy F. Baby on the other hand is not so eager to drag some one through the mud unless its needed, take Christina Milian for example. I assume too many women rights groups came down hard on Chris Brwon and here is his statement below.
“There have been reports on the Internet that I didn’t remember what happened that night with Rihanna. I want to try and set things straight.
That 30 seconds of the interview they used of me was taken from a one hour interview during which that same question was asked something like 4 or 5 times — and when you look at the entire interview you will see it is not representative of what I said.
The first four times - or how ever many times it was - I gave the same answer — which was that I didn’t think it was appropriate for me to talk about what happened that night. I said it was not right for me and it really wasn’t fair to Rihanna. The fifth time - or whatever it was - I just misspoke. I was asked, “Do you remember doing it?” and I said, “No.”
Naomi Call Companies Racist During The Recession
"This year, we have gone back all the way that we had advanced," she says. "I don't see any black woman, or of any other race, in big advertising campaigns."
"That made some noise, but, unfortunately, we are the same as before," she says. "People, in the panic of the recession, don't dare to put a girl of colour in their campaign, full stop. Nor of any other race. It's a shame. It's very sad."
The model, who is a friend of Nelson Mandela, has won support from Bruce Oldfield, the designer of the wedding dress worn by Samantha Cameron, the wife of the Tory leader.
"It's absolutely true that black models will be not as popular for advertising companies and magazine covers as white girls," the designer tells Mandrake. "In a recession, it's probably doubly difficult for black girls to get a booking."
Oldfield is thought to be the son of a Jamaican boxer, but never knew his natural parents and grew up in an orphanage. "In this climate, things are worse, but it is compounding a problem that already exists," he adds. "Cover editors are going to choose white over black. Naomi is not far off the mark."
In 1988, Campbell appeared on the cover of French Vogue as its first black cover girl after Yves St Laurent, her late friend and mentor, threatened to withdraw all of his advertising from the magazine following its refusal to place Campbell, or any black model, on its front page. She also became the first black model to appear on the cover of British Vogue.
Earlier this year, she described the fashion industry as "racist". In a magazine interview, she was quoted as saying "You know, the American president may be black, but, as a black woman, I am still an exception in this business. I always have to work harder to be treated equally."
In June, she attended the Glastonbury music festival with Gordon Brown's wife, Sarah. The pair were promoting the Million Mums charity, which aims to help prevent women from dying needlessly in pregnancy and childbirth.

Lauren London Says Rumors are False
As yall know there were rumors that Lil' Wayne got another BAD chick pregnant well here is what @MsLaurenLondon had to say via her twitter page... I am glad she has finally decided to speak out...
I wish they would just let us enjoy this moment and stop putting false and negative energy out there. 4 minutes ago from TwitterBerry
Rumors are False! Why won't they just let us be. Wayne is indeed the Father and there's no question. We are celebrating a life. Peace 11 minutes ago from TwitterBerry
Now the ? I have is are Lauren London and Lil' Wayne together since she say they are enjoying life. Remember she was seen @ the concert back stage with Nicki Minaj but then again so was Nivea. If my brother Weezy F. Baby knew better he would pick Lauren which im sure he will.
We are hearing that Push and Lauren have had a relationship for the last 3 years… off and on. When he heard that Lauren was pregnant by Wayne, Push figured it was impossible for him to be the father. Now Lauren has asked Push to come in for a DNA test, just to make sure. Friends of Push are saying he could be the father, but Push himself believes he isn’t. The times that Push and Lauren slept together are around the same time as Lil Wayne and Lauren got it knocking, so it is almost a coin flip, one friend tells Bossip.
