Myself and Shamika Sanders caught up Tyrese at IcedMedia for an exclusive interview. The R&B singer spoke on his childhood, new album and more. I got Tyrese to participate in my Trending Topics, where celebrities go in live on Twitter's Trending Topics. We all know Tyrese can pretty serious at times and this was no different. He speaks on the T.I. and Diddy incident, DJ Khaled using the N word and the Ray J and Fabolous fight.

The actor, Singer and now author is back on the scene and making use of his many talents and skills. Tyrese just finished filming two blockbuster movies, "Transformers 3" and "Fast and Furious 5." He has recently written a book "How To Get Out Your Own Way" and has been back in studio working on his new album "Open Invitation," set for a summer 2011 release.

Clearly the man has been busy.

R&B SINGER TYRESE IS BACK IN THE STUDIO WORKING ON NEW ALBUM "OPEN INVITATION"

Tyrese Gibson has been busy over the past few years filming blockbuster hits like Transfomers and Fast 2 Furious and even released a comic book "Mayhem" but if you are a real fan, you know that Tyrese Gibson was introduced to the world as an R&B singer. Most of the world first seen Tyrese in the classic Coca-Cola commercial on the bus singing the slogan always Coca-Cola. Tyrese had won talent shows and done some acting as well but the Coca-Cola commercial is what helped launch the singer and actor to be the superstar you see today. Tyrese has released four successful albums throughout his singing career and has been back in the studio working hard on his upcoming new album "Open Invitation."

Tyrese has been on twitter updating the fans on "Open Invitation", check the tweet below. I guess now all we have to do is wait for a release date and the promo to be released. If you been watching the many award shows that have aired as late, then you saw Tyrese do several tributes to many of the greats. I have to say Tyrese does have a tone that can be compared to greats like Teddy Pendergrass so I do look forward to this new album because I am sure it will be filled with tons of real R&B.

Tyrese has been doing his thing in acting but I am sure his fans would love to see him spending more time with his music career. He def has the fan base to snatch back a lane if he really wanted it.
