HOT97 SUMMER JAM 2011 LINE UP #SJ2011

Its that time of year again and Hot-97 has released their 2011 Summer Jam line up. Its definitely a all star line up for Summer Jam going down June 5th at the New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Lloyd Banks and Fabolous as always holding it down for New York City. WAKA FLOCKA ADDED TO JUICE REMAKE

Waka Flocka Flame has been added to the Juice movie remake that Soulja has been working on. I don't know if Soulja Boy is really doing a full remake or is he doing his version of that plot. There has been a lot of negative responses coming from the critics. The hip hop community feels Soulja Boy is not worthy to remake the movie. Soulja Boy told Rapup, “We’ve been filming here in Atlanta. Waka Flocka’s gonna be in the movie. It’s gonna be crazy. He called, he reached out. We met up with the director. Now I’m almost to the stages where I just gotta finish these last three shoots and then I’ll be cool. I think it was a good idea to bring him on board because the director was trying to get me to put some rappers in it, and he was naming a lot of different rappers. I just felt like if I was gonna put anybody inthe movie, it should make sense and be somebody that I really got a relationship with in the rap game, for real. He’s gonna be a member of my crew and we’re gonna be like this upcoming group in Atlanta. It’s gonna be four of us and we’re gonna be going against this rival crew.”

WAKA FLOCKA FLAME PETA AD

Waka Flocka Flame gets bucket naked for PETA in the latest “Ink, Not Mink” campaign ad.

I told you guys about this a few weeks back and presented the behind the scenes footage as well. I personally thought it was a rumor but nope, Waka Flocka has took it all off for PETA. Wearing two chains with the slogan “Be Comfortable in Your Own Skin and Let Animals Keep Theirs.” the ad reads. Waka Flocka explains why he decided to join the campaign, Waka explained why he decided to bare all for the camera. “I love animals. As a kid, I had dogs, fish, iguanas, lizards…,” he said. “So when I heard about PETA, I Googled it and I was like, PETA! I learned about it though. I got a dog, so I wouldn’t want to skin my little puppy.”

There were reports that Waka Flocka Flame would be joining the PETA campaign and I have to admit I thought it was just a rumor, but looks like it is completely true. Waka Flocka will be in a nude or semi nude ad campaign for PETA real soon.

I know some of you are like we do not want to see Waka Flocka's beer belly but he is going for it. I think this is a great idea for a rap artist to be apart of a campaign like this. The last rap artist I expected to be on a PETA billboard was Waka Flocka.

WAKA FLOCKA IN GUN BATTLE IN CHARLOTTE, NC

According to a few eyewitnesses Rapper Waka Flocka was involved in a gun battle today in Charlotte, NC.

TMZ was told Waka Flocka Flame was on his tour bus outside a car stereo shop, when two cars pulled up next to the bus and opened fire. Waka or anyone else on or around the bus was hit. His publicist was contacted and confirmed his security team did fire back. WCNC in Charlotte aired footage of police on the scene with a man in handcuffs, check photo below.
