Nas Announces new album title, Life Is Good via twitter. The Q-Boro MC recently scrapped his Lost Tapes 2 project due to politics over at Def Jam. Producer like Swizz Beatz, Alchemist, Dr. Dre, Kanye West, DJ Premier and the RZA have reached out to Nas to work on his next album. Is it just me or does it seem like every time Nas is set to drop an album there is label politics centered around it?

NAS WINS EMMY FOR ESPN DOCUMENTARY

Nas wins Emmy for ESPN documentary "Survival 1." The MC produced, directed and did the music for the film. “Survival 1″ is based on amputee victims of the Liberian civil war who formed a soccer team and became champions. NAS LIKES LADY GAGA "BORN THIS WAY"

Lady Gaga released her new single "Born This Way" on Friday morning and has started a frenzy even in the hip hop world. The long awaited "Born This Way" has been making headlines before the track was even heard so no surprise it would be buzzing as if Biggie Smalls came back from the dead.

Nas took to twitter to to let everyone know what he thought about "Born This Way", he states that the single was on of the hottest songs he has heard in a while. I bet a lot of people didn't even think Nas listened to Lady Gaga. Check out the tweet below.

Did you hear this one? I got a very nice tip from somebody inside the music game…a freakin’ phone call! Who does that in 2011? Anyway, the word on the street is that Nas is going to head on over to G.O.O.D. Music, the home of Kanye West, Mos Def, Common, CyHi and a bunch of other talented mofos. Not sure where this started, but what do you think about it?

Also, on the flip side, I heard that Nas may not be releasing his next album on Def Jam. Not surprising. I also heard Lost Tapes may be included as a bonus CD if he does drop it.

NAS & Q-TIP PERFORM LIVE FOR VEVO GO SHOWS

Nas and Q-tip perform live for Vevo Go Shows at the Ace hotel in New York City. Nas came back to his hometown and actually performed his classic hits for a small crowd which is something I am sure he has not done in a while. Q-Tip and Green Lantern was in the building to hold Nas down. Nas Lost Tapes Vol 2 album will be out real soon as well for all the Nas fans that are looking for something new.

Kelis signed a deal with Will-i-am and Interscope last year and has emerged back on the scene. She is still being her weird self and giving the people what they what that classic Kelis that is off the wall and daring to be different. There has been talk of her style being jacked by several girls in the industry and from the looks Kelis has come with a whole new style. Lets se if the saying "Switch your style up and watch you pile up" works for Kelis as Kanye West would say.

NEW MUSIC: NAS RAPS ABOUT THE KELIS SITUATION ON “STRONG WILL CONTINUE”

New music from Nas. Despite a public divorce last summer, Nas and Kelis have managed to keep the details of their separation private. Now the rapper is taking his ex-wife to task on a new song.

Nas addresses Kelis in a newly-added verse from “Strong Will Continue,” his collaboration with Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley from their joint album Distant Relatives. The former couple has a 6-month-old son named Knight together.

On the track, he makes reference to a 1993 incident where martial arts film star Bruce Lee’s son Brandon was killed on set of The Crow. “Twisted and mangled, sort of like Bruce Lee life/ Cursed with his son Brandon/ If that’s you and me Knight/ I pray our fate’s greater.”

The 36-year-old MC is less than pleased with his reported court-ordered spousal and child support payments of $52,000 per month. “How in the hell am I supposed to stay comfy/ When I pay child support, alimony monthly,” he raps.

And as for rumors that he cheated on his wife, Nas has something to say on that topic as well. “So I’ve stuck with some married women so fine, cheating while their husband rushing on the 40-yard line/ Wonder if this is what my ex did the whole time.”

Kelis shows off Baby Knight Jones

Kelis finally gives the world a look @ young Knight Jones. She seems to be so happy as of late that she has Knight by her side. She tweets about how happy he makes her all the time. You guys know that Kelis is a fav to "THE SOCIETY" and Kelis and Nas was once Jazzy F. Baby fav hip-hop couple I hope they decide to get back together if looking @ Knight can't do it I guess nothing will. I wish Kelis all the best.
