N.E.R.D. PERFORMS @ FASHION SHOW OUTSIDE LINCOLN CENTER
Everyone knows its NYC’s Fashion Week and Tuesday night September 7th there was a Fashion’s Night Out runway show outside of Lincoln Center. Fashion week is not complete without Supermodels like Naomi Campbell, Adriana Lima, and Gisele Bündchen who all walked the Runway to some live music from N.E.R.D. Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo performed “Hot ‘N Fun” for the runway show. Check out the clip above.

NAOMI CAMPBELL COVER UPTOWN MAGAZINE
Naomi Campbell cover UPTOWN Magazine doing what she does best looking like a fucking knockout. As of late Naomi was doing something else that she does best and that is go to court. Naomi Campbell had to testify in court for receiving blood diamonds from Liberian leader Charles Taylor. Now of course Naomi Campbell showed up killing them in the latest fashions as always but she also had the diva attitude as well. She complained about having to do so was a big inconvenience for her. She interrupted lawyers and made it clear she was not flirting with Charles Taylor before receiving the diamonds. I mean do we expect anything less from Naomi Campbell who is fashion royalty for crying out loud. I think Naomi Campbell just may feel the world revolved around her and she just may be right. NAOMI, GIRL! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HAIR??
Naomi Campbell was in New York's Meatpacking District on Tuesday shooting the new ad campaign for Dennis Basso's Fall fur coat collection. Yes, she was wearing a fur coat in the middle of June; and posed in the coats - which easily cost between $30,000 and $60,000 - in a gas station, where she and the fur actually touched the gas dispensers. But that isnt what is bothering us. It was rather the bald patches of hair that were revealed on either side of her head when the stylist went in to adjust her clothing. I guess all these years of wearing hair extensions to work have left your girl with some severe breakage on her hairline. I bet you one thing though... Those pictures are going to be sick! And at the end of the day that's all the really matters.

Naomi Campbell appeared on the Oprah show to talk with the queen of media about her life. I mean for the first time we actually saw Naomi open up and let out some emotion other than DIVA. Oprah asked her about her attitude and her love for throwing things at people. Naomi told Oprah that she recognize that she has a temper and wants to work on being a better person. She also spoke about being abandoned by her mother, who looks excellent. You can see where Naomi got her good looks from. Naomi Campbell's mother did admit that she was not always around because she worked hard to give Naomi a good life. Naomi actually broke down in tears. Check the video above to see the interview.

NAOMI CAMPBELL IS SO BIRDNESS
We all know Naomi Campbell will get it in, she just might be the one to call if you got beef in your hood because she is known to set it off sight seen. The ABC News Reporter asked Naomi Campbell a few questions about some birdness that happen in South Africa and she was not going for it. Naomi Campbell became angered when asked if she had ever received a "blood diamond" from deposed African despot Charles Taylor. I would say she kept her cool for the most part, but of course she could not hold out. Check Naomi Campbell at the end of the video as she slaps the camera hard as hell. I love Naomi she is one of my favorites.

Friday night Naomi Campbell hosted the Fashion for Relief Haiti benefit show. The 30 minute fashion show was styled completely by celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe. The finale was a small tribute dedicated to the late Alexander McQueen, as the models wore pieces from his latest collections.

Naomi Call Companies Racist During The Recession
The 39-year-old supermodel, who is a close friend of Sarah Brown, the Prime Minister's wife, claims that major companies are refusing to use non-white women to promote their products.
"This year, we have gone back all the way that we had advanced," she says. "I don't see any black woman, or of any other race, in big advertising campaigns."
Campbell, who was born in London to a mother of Caribbean descent, refers to the publication last year of a special edition of Italian Vogue dedicated to non-white models.
"That made some noise, but, unfortunately, we are the same as before," she says. "People, in the panic of the recession, don't dare to put a girl of colour in their campaign, full stop. Nor of any other race. It's a shame. It's very sad."
The model, who is a friend of Nelson Mandela, has won support from Bruce Oldfield, the designer of the wedding dress worn by Samantha Cameron, the wife of the Tory leader.

"It's absolutely true that black models will be not as popular for advertising companies and magazine covers as white girls," the designer tells Mandrake. "In a recession, it's probably doubly difficult for black girls to get a booking."
Oldfield is thought to be the son of a Jamaican boxer, but never knew his natural parents and grew up in an orphanage. "In this climate, things are worse, but it is compounding a problem that already exists," he adds. "Cover editors are going to choose white over black. Naomi is not far off the mark."
In 1988, Campbell appeared on the cover of French Vogue as its first black cover girl after Yves St Laurent, her late friend and mentor, threatened to withdraw all of his advertising from the magazine following its refusal to place Campbell, or any black model, on its front page. She also became the first black model to appear on the cover of British Vogue.
Earlier this year, she described the fashion industry as "racist". In a magazine interview, she was quoted as saying "You know, the American president may be black, but, as a black woman, I am still an exception in this business. I always have to work harder to be treated equally."
In June, she attended the Glastonbury music festival with Gordon Brown's wife, Sarah. The pair were promoting the Million Mums charity, which aims to help prevent women from dying needlessly in pregnancy and childbirth.

Check Naomi Campbell talk her shit! Last year Naomi Campbell kicked off Berlin Fashion Week with a call to fashion designers to use more models from different ethnic backgrounds. I am glad Naomi decided to step voice her opinion. I feel most black people in fashion are not. Naomi Campbell has been in fashion for over 20 years so maybe her speaking up can make a difference, lets hope Naomi start a campaign and get more black models involved. Fashion needs more color and not just black people but from all areas of the map. Naomi looked like she wanted to get real but she held back for the event, we all know she has a mouth and good throwing arm on her.
