Jazzy F. Baby here and I have to GO IN on Ludacris "Battle of the Sexes" album, and not too much because I am definitly a Luda fan. Ludacris has hit the number 1 spot with this album and the single "How Low" has gone platinum with "My Chick Bad" ft. Nicki Minaj to follow. I do like the album, I give it 7 out of 10. I have to question the title of the album "Battle of the Sexes". If you follow Ludacris then you would know the album was initially to be a joint album with female MC Shawnna who we all thought was DTP's first lady but as of recent news has surfaced of her joining T-pain over on Nappy Boy.
I just thought that maybe if the album was titled "Battle of the Sexes" there would be more like a two sides to every story battle rap between the opposite sexes. There are more males on the album than females. The reviews were mixed before the release of the album. The single "My Chick Bad" has Nicki Minaj featured and Diamond, Trina and Eve on the remix, with Lil Kim on Hey Ho. Shawnna is on a deluxe edition bonus track featuring Dru Hill "Rollercoaster". Luda's cousin Monica and Ciara are on the album as well but they aren't female MCs, oh wait sometime Monica is.
I don't think this album has anything to do with the theme. It would have been hot to have a track where the male and female sorta battle rap. Check the Tracklisting below and tell us if you think this was a "Battle of The Sexes" album or just another one of Luda's brilliant ideas to take the number 1 spot? "Ludaversal" is the title of Ludacris next album.
