The Hip-Hop group from Atlanta Travis Porter has landed a pretty good deal with Jive Records, which they announced this week. Travis Porter, which consists of Strap, Ali and Quez, is currently in the studio working on a album that will be released on their own label, Porter House/Jive records. The group decided to sign with Jive records considering that the label doesn't have many hip hop acts and will be able to focus on them a bit more than the other labels who have scouted the group in the past. Gucci Mane and Birdman was interested in signing Travis Porter but looks like they feel Jive will be more suitable. The announcement was made official yesterday November 29th, where in Atlanta there was a banner flying in the sky. I am sure Travis Porter has some twitpics for you @IamTravisPorter.
