Yesterday at the Radio One office, Stacy Callender the Nicki Minaj look-a-like stopped by to speak on being featured in Lil Kim's "Black Friday" music video.
Stacy who is in her twenties, from Brooklyn, New York attended the the video shoot with hopes of just being seen, she was invited by a close friend who introduced her to Lil Kim, who she stated is a real sweet heart. Kim told Stacy she should stand near her during the shoot which later caused a picture leaked to the blogs about a Nicki Minaj look-a-like in the music video.
This was not the plan but when the buzz began to cause a frenzy, director Picture Perfect called Stacy about the part. Stacy has already been featured in Fat Joe and Trey Songz “If It Aint’ About The Money” and Ron Browz & Bobby V’s “I Like” music videos so this was nothing new to her. The first thing she stated was that she feels both female MCs are talented and she has love for them both.
“I was real iffy about it because I don’t want to get in between anybody’s beef …I have no problems with anyone.”
