Check out rising artist/songwriter FAME from Brooklyn, New York.In 2011 we are seeing several different styles become successful in hip hop and with the success of Drake and B.O.B, we are sure to see more. FAME a young rap artist and singer has been getting great feedback while on the grind to create a serious buzz for himself. In October of 2010 FAME signed a management and production deal with MBK Entertainment, who represent a-list artist like Alicia Keys and Tyrese.
“I’m glad the response to what I do has been so positive for the most part. I’m definitely influenced by the golden era of hip hop and conscience lyrics. At the same time I gravitate towards more musical elements with an energetic rawness.” Fame next says with a grin, “then again, sometimes you just gotta spit the dirty truth.” Is FAME's response to the feedback he has be getting from the critics.
Since signing his deal, FAME has been locked in the MBK midtown studios, with plans to release a mixtape in 2011. Influenced by Jay Z, Biggie, Fabolous & R. Kelly he has the ability to create music past his time. Check out FAME's current record "Coy" below. The record has been getting spins here in New York City on Power 105 and Hot 97. As a result of staying on his grind FAME recently hit the stage for BET's Music Matters performance at Crash Mansion.
