Fat Joe talks the Miami hip hop scene, cooking show and charity on the latest episode of NBC Nitecap with Peter Bailey.

Peter Bailey catches up with another artist making noise down in Miami. Fat Joe originally from the Bronx, NYC has taken his talents to the city of Miami years ago and he talks about opening doors for people to eat and leaving New York City and catch back lash from his hometown. Fat Joe talks about hip hop making a difference in the community. He also mentions partnering up with Rico Love to launch the next Beyonce. *SideEye*

Fat Joe appears on Chelsea Lately to talk about his new album "The Darkside", only sold about 12 or 17K its first week in stores is what I heard. Fat Joe was Chelsea lately first rapper to appear on the show and Chelsea claims ever since she has been all around the block. I love Chelsea Handler, she is so fucking funny. Fat Joe also spoke about the Chinese Fat Joe who he recently met. You have to see the video to understand what I am talking about. "The Darkside" album is Fat Joe 10th studio album so go out and pick this up. We Joey Crack to do better on the sales. 12-17K for a 10th album vet release is not acceptable.

New music video from Fat Joe "Slow Down" featuring Young Jeezy. The video is a remake to BELLY opening scene where they robbed the night club. I wanna know why the hell this video is just coming out, Fat Joe you gotta do better and get on your job. The track is hot to death. I also would like to know why the spin on the radio is not up like they should be for "Slow Down". Fat Joe has got a serious banger on his hands with this one. NEW RAP ALBUMS: THE GAME, 50 CENT, FAT JOE

The Game’s upcoming studio project entitled “The R.E.D. Album” has got a release date. December 1, 2009

50 Cent’s new album “Before I Self Destruct” will be pushed back for the umm. I forgot how many times too many times. Scheduled to hit stores on November 17, Will now debut on November 23, Rap-Up.com





Several independent releases debuted on the Billboard 200 sales chart this week, including new discs by Fat Joe and Saigon. I guess it is not looking to good for some people in hip hop.

Joey Crack’s ninth solo album, J.O.S.E. 2, landed at the no. 73 spot in his first week. The LP, which faced several pushbacks due to sample clearances and lack of promotion, features appearances by Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Akon, Lil Kim, Raekwon, Swizz Beatz, Ron Browz, and Pleasure P among others. Overal the CD sold 8,300 copies since hitting shelves last Tuesday (October 6).

Fellow NY rapper, Saigitty, landed almost 100 spots down at no. 170. Fans of the former Entourage star only picked up 3,100 units of his new street CD, Warning Shots 2.

The collaborative project between Harlemites Jim Jones and Webstar failed to crack the top 200 in their debut week. The duo, known for their hit “Dancing on Me” sold about 2,400 copies of The Rooftop this sales cycle.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z continues his reign at the top of the charts. The Brooklyn legend sold an additional 64,800 units this week, which earned The Blueprint 3 a no. 5 spot. After five weeks the disc has finally gone platinum, with his official stats standing at 1,061,600.

The Black Eyed Peas stay strong at no. 23 this week. The group, who have been on the charts for 18 weeks, sold 25,500 copies of The E.N.D. this go-round. The CD has a tally to 1,195.00.

Five slots down at no. 28 is T.Dot rep Drake. The Young Money rapper’s So Far Gone EP moved an additional 21,100 units this week, bringing Drizzy’s total to 162,300.

Next week, look for Snoop Dogg’s Lost Sessions LP and Mario’s new CD to appear on the Billboard 200. –Elan Mancini (via XXL)

Now we back on this old beef from the 90s Fat Joe and Jay-Z. I assume Fat Joe made this relevant again since he has another flop album comin gout and need to use The God Hova for some press. Page Six reports:

The feud between Jay-Z and rapper Fat Joe may be simmering down, but it’s not over. Both attended a party at club Imperial the other night, and spies said they didn’t speak at all. One source says, “Jay-Z arrived and totally upstaged Fat Joe. He rolled up in a Jeep with no roof or doors, and was blasting out his new song. Then, when he got into the DJ booth, the whole club just came to a standstill. Fat Joe was not a happy camper. He made sure he wasn’t in the DJ booth when Jay-Z was there. Instead, he ordered a bottle of Hennessey and looked moody in the VIP area. Then, later on Twitter, he thanked Jay-Z for stopping by his party.”

Fat Joe sit down you can not even get on Jay-Z level at this point so continue to hate.
