"After 19 years, I am announcing my retirement from professional basketball. I never thought this day would come. Father time has finally caught up with Shaquille O'Neal." In 1,207 career games, Shaq has scored 28,596 points which makes it the fifth best in the NBA of all-time and collected 13,099 rebounds.

BISHOP EDDIE LONG SETTLES WITH ACCUSERS

Bishop Eddie Long, the Georgia megachurch pastor, has reached an out-of-court settlement with the four young men who accused him of sexual abuse, representatives for both sides said Thursday May 26th. Today B.J. Bernstein, the attorney representing the men, said in a statement that the lawsuits against Long and his church have “been resolved.” Bernstein’s two-paragraph statement said that neither she nor the accusers would talk about the lawsuits “now or in the future.” Eddie Long did state that he would fight the case because the allegations were false. Art Franklin, a Long spokesman, said Thursday that the pastor settled because it “is the most reasonable road for everyone to travel.” “This decision was made to bring closure to this matter and to allow us to move forward with the plans God has for this ministry,” Franklin said in a statement.

If you let TMZ tell it, rapper and reality TV star Flvor Flav was arrested in Las Vegas. Flavor Flav whose real name is William Jonathan Drayton Jr. was pulled over Friday night for a moving violation. Turns out Flav has a few outstanding warrants for driving without proof of insurance, a parking violation and two cases of driving without a license. Flav was taken into custody before being released several hours later.

NICK CANNON & MARIAH CAREY WELCOME TWINS ON THEIR ANNIVERSARY

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey are proud parents of Twins. The r&b pop star went into labor at on Saturday at 12:07 p.m. eastern time at an Los Angeles hospital, Mariah’s publicist told the associated press. Nick was so nervous he took Mariah took the wrong section of the hospital and had to be led by a nurse to the maternity ward. The baby girl was born first, weighing 5 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 18 inches long, with her brother following at 5 pounds 6 ounces, and was 19 inches. After the babies were born the couple listened to Mariah's hit single "We Belong Together," I know that is a lot going on but hey its their perfect life. Nick tweeted “My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life! I won’t ever be able to top this!” The couple is expected to renew their vows on Sunday for their third weeding anniversary.
