Looks like Huffington Post just scored big with news leaking about AOL purchasing the blog site for $350 million dollars. TheHuffingtonPost.com founded five years ago by Arianna Huffington, a former conservative political commentator and ex-wife of former Republican Congressman Michael Huffington. Arianna is by far well established with many accomplishments under her belt, she was listed #12 by Forbes first ever Most Important Woman in Media List in 2009.
The multi-million dollar deal also comes with more responsibilities where Arianna will will run AOL's websites as president and editor in chief of The Huffington Post, Engadget, TechCrunch, Moviefone, MapQuest, Black Voices, PopEater, AOL Music, AOL Latino, AutoBlog, Patch, and StyleList.
