According to MyFoxNews.com Remy Ma appeal has been rejected.Thursday February 24, the Court of Appeals rejected arguments that a judge didn't properly inform jurors before they rendered a guilty verdict.
Remy Ma who's real name is Reminisce Smith is serving a eight year sentence for criminal possession of a weapon and two counts of assault. In 2007 Remy accused her friend Makeda Barnes-Joseph of stealing $2,000 dollars from her purse while attending an event at the Pizza Bar in the bronx. When the event was over Remy approached Makeda in her car where the two struggled over Makeda's bag which resulted in Makeda being shot in the stomach.
